Mud Kitchen

Our Mud Kitchen is a blend of nature, science, and creativity where kids of all ages, and even caregivers can dive into messy, meaningful play together. Inspired by the philosophies of Outdoor School and Montessori learning, this outdoor, hands-on space invites children to stir, pour, mix, and mash using natural materials like water, mud, sand, and leaves.

The Mud Kitchen is an outdoor event. You may get wet and/or muddy! Dress appropriately!

Do I need to accompany my child into the Mud Kitchen?

Open to ages 4+ with caregivers supervising from outside the Kitchen. Children under 4 must be accompanied in the Kitchen by their caregiver.

What happens in the Mud Kitchen?

Imagination and hands on play!

How long will I spend in the Mud Kitchen?

You may spend as long as you wish in the Mud Kitchen depending on crowds.

Will I get dirty or wet?

You may get wet and/or muddy!
