The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History has occasional employment opportunities in a variety of areas and requiring different skills.
KidSummer Assistants
Applicants must be at least 16 years old or have completed the Junior Naturalist program and be available for an in-person interview. Interests in nature, science, art, and working with children ages 3-15 is a must!
Assistants are responsible for supporting the lead teacher with the activities and being another pair of eyes, to provide the students with safe, fun, learning experiences.
- Interviews February 17 - April 18, 2025
- Seasonal position: Required hours are June 23 – August 15, 8am - 1pm weekdays
- Current CPR & First Aid certification Required
- Pay rate: $18/hour

Shift Manager
Responsibilities include opening and closing the Museum, assisting visitors and volunteers, providing breaks for volunteers, managing the admissions area, traffic control, and problem solving. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, be computer literate and enjoy working with the public. A general knowledge of the inside and outside of the Museum is a plus. Rate commensurate with experience.
