KidSummer Lead Teachers
Lead teachers are responsible for daily lesson plans, safety, and behavior management. Previous experience with children is a plus.

- Seasonal position: Required hours are June 23 – August 15, 8am - 1pm weekdays
- Current CPR & First Aid certification Required
- Pay rate: $20-22/hour

KidSummer Assistants
Applicants must be at least 16 years old or have completed the Junior Naturalist program and be available for an in-person interview. Interests in nature, science, art, and working with children ages 3-15 is a must!
Assistants are responsible for supporting the lead teacher with the activities and being another pair of eyes, to provide the students with safe, fun, learning experiences.

Coastal Explorer Van Driver
The Museum is looking for an individual to drive our Coastal Explorer RV. The RV is a mobile, informal educational outreach vehicle that provides an opportunity to bring hands-on STEM experiences directly to schools, libraries, and other institutions.
This individual must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance. Experience driving a van/school bus is a plus.
- Position is available until filled
- Hours: Dependent on scheduled visits.
- Pay Rate: Commensurate with Experience
- Start date: ASAP

Butterfly House & Pollinator Path Attendant
Help manage and care for our summer resident butterflies. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting volunteer docents
- Garden maintenance
- Managing ticket times & line
- Sharing Museum information
This position is outside: light rain or shine. Severe weather cancels butterfly visits & feedings. Previous experience at the Museum & familiarity with iPad technology a plus.

Manage sign-ups for numerous programs and events. This position requires a friendly, patient, organized individual with strong Customer Service and time management skills who enjoy interacting with children. Previous experience at the Museum and familiarity with iPad technology a plus.

Science Rocks! Attendant
Manage registration schedule and monitor visit times while engaging visitors in the dozens of hands-on activities and fun ways to explore, build, and tinker. Help our visitors discover how science shapes our world. This position requires a friendly, patient, organized individual with strong Customer Service and time management skills who enjoy interacting with children. Previous experience at the Museum a plus.
