CCMAS September Program
How do archaeologists identify artifacts? Join archaeologist Dan Zoto for an informal discussion on artifact identification and site interpretation. Learn how archaeologists identify small artifact fragments and use them to tell a larger story. The program will cover Indigenous stone tools and colonial materials. Guests are welcome to bring artifacts of their own as discussion points.
Dan Zoto is an archaeologist from Hyannis. He has worked in cultural resource management since 2010 and is a Registered Professional Archaeologist. Dan has published several articles on the archaeology of New England, including Cape Cod.
