Snowy Owls: Visitors from the North

Wild Care’s Executive Director Stephanie Ellis will be discussing the journey of Snowy Owls from the Arctic to the shores of Cape Cod and how our Cape community can contribute to the safety and survival of these incredible animals. Stephanie will also discuss current threats to Snowy Owl populations, and what it's like to rehabilitate one!

Stephanie Ellis has been the Executive Director of Wild Care for 8 years. For over two decades, she has worked on both coasts of the United States doing wildlife rehabilitation, environmental advocacy, and avian conservation work. She has a fondness for mice, birds and bird eggs.
