Mudflat Mania!

Join our Mudflat Mania! Naturalists on our highly popular hikes to Cape Cod Bay and explore the life on and below the Brewster flats. This 90-minute family program includes a 20-minute walk out to the flats where you will learn and explore with the guides, then walk back to the Museum. Wear comfortable hiking or water shoes, bring a sun hat, a towel, pail, and shovel. Add a notebook, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn for a great experience designed for the whole family!

Can I bring my stroller?

The walk is over somewhat challenging terrain and not suitable for strollers, wagons, or wheelchairs.

How far of a walk is Mudflat Mania!?

The walk to the flats and back is approximately 1.3miles over somewhat challenging terrain. One to the flats you will be able to explore with our guides.

What should I wear?
