Bird Walk & Talk
Join CCMNH Volunteer Karl Fryzel and explore the birds of the season in 4 different habitats: marsh, meadow, woodland, and beach/shore. The walk will spend time looking for and listening to birds in each of these four habitats after a brief introduction to the Museum. The walk will also explain and utilize some of the latest birdwatching technology tools. It is suggested that participants bring binoculars and a smart phone. These walks are approximately one hour over somewhat challenging terrain.
Karl is a CCMNH Field Guide, an amateur birder, self-educated in ornithology receiving numerous certificates of completion in birding, including The Comprehensive Bird Biology Certificate, through The Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
