an Educational and Entertaining

Interactive Science Festival!

Saturday, March 22, 2014  11am - 3pm

 

In collaboration with the Cambridge Science Festival's Science on the Street outreach program, join the curious and have fun learning about STEM (science, technology, engineering  & math) at our interactive science festival meant for families, teachers and students

Exhibitors have activities and info representing MIT Cambridge Science Festival, Marine Biology Lab/Woods Hole, NASA, Waquoit Bay Reserve, Center for Coastal Studies, Mass Audubon, The Boy Scouts, Harwich Cares, Cape Light Compact, NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center, NOAA Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, Barnstable Eco Tours, Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, Crocker Nurseries, WHOI, Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School, Zephyr  and more!!

Topics include: Bees, Rockets, Turtles, Birdbanding, Insects, Fish, Satellites, Space, Electricity, Archaeology, Osprey, Turbines, Acoustics, Circuit Circus, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car, Plankton, Trout, Bats, Snakes and a Storm Chaser.                   

$3 members/$5 nonmembers  No reservations needed. Appropriate for ages 4 - 104.
